Welcome to The Purpose Club (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
Our mission is to help teens and families discover their unique strengths, values, and purpose through guided digital tools, self-paced programs, and optional coaching support.

We believe your personal journey is private. Everything you share — from reflections to assessments — is treated with strict confidentiality. We will never sell, trade, or share your personal information, responses, or insights with any third party without your clear, written consent.

These Terms describe how you can use our website, platform, and services. By using our site, you confirm that you’ve read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. Who Can Use The Purpose Club

You must be at least 13 years old to use the site.
If you’re under 18, a parent or legal guardian must create your account, approve participation, and handle any purchases. “You” in this agreement refers to both the user and, where applicable, their parent or guardian.

3. What We Offer

The Purpose Club provides:

• Access to digital purpose-finding tools, reflections, and assessments

• Optional live “Purpose Expert” sessions

• Personalized dashboards and purpose planning resources

• Optional subscription plans and one-time setup packages

Everything you create or share in the platform — including journal notes, assessment answers, and reflections — remains your private information and is only used to support your personal progress within your account.

4. Your Privacy and Confidentiality

We understand that the information you share may feel deeply personal. We treat it that way.

• Your data is never shared with other members, coaches outside your program, advertisers, or any external entity without your explicit permission.

• Only authorized Purpose Club team members or your selected coach (if applicable) may access your information, strictly for the purpose of supporting your journey.

• Your account and activity are not visible to other users or the public.

• You can request to delete your data and account at any time by emailing privacy@thepurposeclub.ai.

5. Creating an Account

To use our services, you’ll need to create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information

• Keep your login details secure

• Use the account for your personal or family use only
  You’re responsible for any activity under your account credentials.

6. Plans, Pricing & Payment

We offer several options, including free and paid plans. Paid tiers may include setup fees or subscription renewals. Pricing is clearly displayed at checkout.

When you subscribe or make a purchase, you agree to pay the price shown and authorize us (via our secure payment processor, Stripe) to charge your selected payment method.

• Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date.

• You can cancel at any time, and cancellations apply to the next billing cycle.

• We reserve the right to adjust plan prices prospectively, with advance notice.

7. Refunds & Cancellations

We want you to love your experience. Please refer to our Refund Policy, which explains how refunds and cancellations work. In short, setup fees and delivered sessions are non-refundable, but subscriptions can be canceled at any time before renewal.

8. Use of Services

You agree to use the site respectfully, responsibly, and in accordance with applicable laws. You may not:

• Share false, harmful, or illegal content

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to others’ data

• Copy or distribute our content without permission

• Disrupt or misuse the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or compromise user safety.

9. Ownership of Your Data & Our Content

 

Your Data

You own your reflections, uploads, and personal assessment results.
We do not claim ownership of any data you generate within The Purpose Club.
We store and process it solely to deliver your personalized experience (e.g., display results, track goals, or enable your Purpose Dashboard).

We do not use or reuse your information for marketing, product development, or analytics that identify you personally.

Our Content

All program materials, tools, visuals, and platform code belong to The Purpose Club, LLC. You may use them for personal growth within your account but may not copy, redistribute, or commercialize them.

10. No Sharing Without Consent

To make this absolutely clear:

We will never share your personal data, assessment results, journals, reflections, or communications with any third party — including schools, employers, marketers, or partners — unless you (or your parent/guardian) provide explicit written consent.

If we ever request to use anonymized or aggregated data (e.g., to understand which activities are most helpful), it will be stripped of all identifying information first.

11. Service Changes

We may occasionally enhance or update features to improve your experience.
We will not remove or reduce any core features from your paid plan without notice, and any changes will respect your existing privacy settings.

12. Warranties and Limitations

Our platform is provided “as is” for educational and self-development purposes. We make no guarantees of specific outcomes (e.g., school admissions or employment).

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Purpose Club is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the site. Our total liability will never exceed the fees paid by you in the prior 12 months.

13. Indemnity

You agree to hold harmless The Purpose Club, its team members, and affiliates from any claims arising from misuse of the site or breach of these Terms.

14. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may also deactivate accounts that are inactive for extended periods or violate our Terms.

Upon termination, we will delete your personal data unless required by law to retain it briefly for administrative or tax purposes.

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, USA. Any disputes will be handled exclusively in courts located in Travis County, Texas, unless otherwise required by consumer protection law.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may occasionally update these Terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. Any material changes will be clearly communicated, and the effective date will be updated. Continuing to use the platform means you accept the new Terms.

Parental Privacy & Data Handling Addendum

(For Parents and Guardians of Teen Participants)

Effective Date: October 31, 2025

At The Purpose Club, we recognize that helping young people explore their identity, values, and goals is a deeply personal process — and one that parents and guardians rightfully care about. This Addendum explains how we handle information when an account is created for a minor (under 18 years of age).

Our goal is to balance two important priorities:

1. Protecting your teen’s confidentiality and trust so they can reflect honestly and grow freely, and

2. Empowering you as the parent or guardian to maintain visibility, consent, and control over their participation.

1. Parental Consent

• A parent or legal guardian must create and approve the account for any user under 18.

• By doing so, you confirm that you consent to your teen’s participation, the collection of limited personal data necessary to provide the program, and the storage of assessment results and coaching records for their benefit.

• You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing privacy@thepurposeclub.ai — at which point the account and all data will be deleted.

2. Types of Information Collected

For teen users, we collect only what is necessary to operate the platform and personalize the experience:

• First name, age, and parent contact info

• Program selections, assessments, and progress data

• Optional journal entries, reflections, or uploaded files (visible only to the user and their assigned Purpose Expert, if any)

We do not collect unnecessary personal data such as social media details, precise location, or biometric data.

3. Confidentiality Between Teen and Purpose Expert

We encourage trust between the teen and their Purpose Expert. To support honest self-reflection:

• Journal entries and reflections are private to the teen and their assigned coach unless the teen chooses to share them with their parent or guardian.

• Purpose Experts sign a Confidentiality Agreement requiring strict protection of teen information and a professional code of conduct.

• If a coach believes a teen is in danger or expresses intent to harm themselves or others, we will notify the parent or guardian immediately in accordance with safety protocols.

4. Parental Access and Oversight

As a parent or guardian, you may:

• Review or request a summary of your teen’s overall progress (modules completed, key insights, and milestones)

• Request correction or deletion of your teen’s data

• Request a copy of all data associated with the account

• Receive general program updates or communications
  However, you will not automatically receive access to journal entries, personal reflections, or private coaching notes — unless your teen chooses to share them.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

• All teen data is securely stored using encryption and limited access controls.

• After two years of inactivity, accounts are automatically archived and anonymized.

• Parents can request complete deletion of all identifiable data at any time.

Deletion requests can be made by emailing privacy@thepurposeclub.ai.

6. Use of Data

We use data only to deliver and improve the Purpose Club experience. Specifically:

• To personalize assessments and dashboards

• To provide secure coaching and reflection tools

• To improve educational quality (in aggregated, anonymous form)

We will never sell, trade, or share your or your teen’s personal information with advertisers, schools, or employers.

7. Communication Preferences

• We send service-related messages (account updates, scheduling notices) to the parent email used for registration.

• Teens may receive in-app reminders or motivational messages related to their purpose journey.

• Marketing or optional updates are sent only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe anytime.

8. Safety and Mandatory Reporting

The Purpose Club is not a therapy or crisis service. However, if a teen discloses information that indicates potential self-harm, abuse, or danger, our team is required to take appropriate steps — including notifying a parent or legal guardian and, if necessary, the proper authorities — in accordance with applicable law.

9. Your Rights

As the parent or guardian of a minor user, you have the right to:

• Review all data collected from your teen

• Revoke consent and delete data at any time

• Receive notice of any data breach or material policy change

We respond to all parental privacy requests within 30 days.

10. Our Promise to Parents

• Your teen’s information is private, secure, and never commercialized.

• You retain full control and oversight as their legal guardian.

• Our environment is built for trust, reflection, and growth — never surveillance or marketing.

• All data is encrypted, confidential, and handled with care equal to health or counseling data standards.
